Sightseeing and related things to do in Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta as city is not well known for lots of historic buildings or impressive pyramids like other destinations in Mexico, but the traces of history are visible and very interesting. The church Guadalupe in downtown with its unique crown at the towers top, Casa Kimberley, the house Richard Burton gave to Elizabeth Taylor as wedding gift, Las Penitas, the three huge rocks in the ocean south of Vallarta, the small museum on the River Caule Island or the Romantic Zone with its rich culture are just a few of all the sites one should have visited. Even two earth pyramids close to the suburb of Ixtapa exist in Puerto Vallarta.
